INGLEWOOD, Calif. – When you talk about the future of basketball, one name continues to rise above the rest — Jason Crowe Jr.. The 6-foot-4 lefty point guard from Inglewood High School in California is rewriting the record books and cementing himself as one of the most electrifying players in high school basketball. A five-star prospect in the class of 2026, Crowe Jr. is not just a scorer — he’s a show.
After spending his freshman and sophomore seasons at Lynwood High School, Crowe Jr. transferred to Inglewood High, where he now plays under the guidance of his father, Jason Crowe Sr.A local legend himself, Crowe Sr. starred at Inglewood before playing collegiately at Cal State Northridge and professionally overseas in Europe, South America, Iran, Australia, and New Zealand.
That basketball pedigree runs deep. With his father on the bench and Jason Hart — a former NBA player, G League Ignite head coach, and current Kentucky assistant — as his godfather, Jason Crowe Jr. has been bred for greatness.
This season, Crowe Jr. is putting up video-game numbers, averaging an incredible 35.3 points per game, while leading Inglewood to a 26-7 record and an Ocean League championship. He’s crossed the 3,300-point mark in just three high school seasons, already tallying 3,331 career points — with eye-popping performances like 55, 45, and 42-point games this year alone.
Crowe Jr. isn’t just a scorer — he’s an elite offensive engine. Known for his quick-twitch movement, elite handle, and deep NBA-range shooting, he thrives in isolation, but he’s just as deadly in the pick-and-roll. A natural combo guard, he’s capable of threading precision kickout passes to open shooters, or finishing through contact at the rim. His basketball IQ is advanced well beyond his years.
In a showcase against Taj Ariza — a top-five 2026 prospect and son of former NBA forward Trevor Ariza — Crowe Jr. dropped 33 points, further proving he belongs in the conversation as one of the top high school players in the country.
This summer, he’ll suit up with the Oakland Soldiers in the Nike EYBL circuit, where he’s expected to draw even more national attention. He’s already a top recruiting target for programs like Kentucky, Arkansas, Michigan, Miami, USC, UCLA, and Washington.
Jason Crowe Jr. is the player you want the ball in the hands of when it matters most — a clutch shot-maker, smart decision-maker, and fierce competitor with sky-high upside. Whether he’s knocking down NBA threes, dissecting defenses, or leading his team to victory, Crowe Jr. is making it clear: he’s not just next — he’s now.
