NCAA Tournament: Sunday’s Top Performers for March 23rd, 2025

Walter Clayton Jr. – Florida: Clayton contributed 23 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist in Florida’s narrow 77-75 victory over UConn.

Liam McNeeley – UConn: Despite UConn’s loss to Florida, McNeeley stood out with 22 points, shooting 6-of-16 from the field and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw line.

VJ Edgecombe – Baylor: In Baylor’s defeat against Duke, Edgecombe managed 16 points (6-of-12 FG), 6 rebounds, and committed no turnovers in 33 minutes.

Nique Clifford – Colorado State: Clifford delivered a versatile performance with 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, though Colorado State fell to Maryland 72-71.  

Julian Reese – Maryland: Reese recorded his 37th career double-double, posting 15 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Colorado State.
