“Mac” Etienne has decided to enroll at DePaul via the transfer portal from UCLA.
The school confirmed “Mac” Etienne’s addition following a social media post from the 6-foot-10 forward.
Etienne played in 13 games and made one start as a true freshman at UCLA. He appeared in 32 games with the Bruins last season, which followed a redshirt season in 2021-22 recovering from a torn ACL.
DePaul coach Tony Stubblefield said Friday that “Mac is joining us from a very strong program in UCLA.”
“He’s spent the last three years developing under one of the best coaching staffs in the country and been a part of a program with great culture and success. Mac has played at the highest level with the Bruins and only begun to scratch the surface of his abilities. We look forward to his continued growth and him being an integral piece to our team this year.”
