On3 reports that Tennessee freshman forward Julian Phillips has enter the transfer portal. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-8 forward started 25 games for the Vols during the 2022-23 season. He averaged 8.3 points, 1.4 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game. Phillips declared for the 2023 NBA Draft and now furthers his options of potentially switching colleges after just playing one season at Tennessee.
Phillips was a 5-star prospect and originally signed with LSU but was granted his release from the program after Will Wade was fired last March.
