On3’s Joe Tipton reported that Daimion Collins a 6-foot-9 forward will transfer to LSU. Collins a former five star prospect spend two seasons at Kentucky averaging 2.4 points and 2 rebounds over 7.6 minutes per game.
Kentucky coach John Calipari released a statement of support for Collins following his April 21 announcement that he will be transferring. During his tenure he struggled on and off the court. Collins unexpectedly lost his father Ben on November 1st at age 43. Also saw limited playing time as well.
Collins announced on social media Thursday afternoon he is transferring to LSU. He will be playing for head coach Matt McMahon.
