DJ Horne who played the past two seasons at Arizona State and was the Sun Devils’ second-leading scorer this past season with 12.5 points per game will be playing at NC State next season.
Horne has one year of eligibility remaining. He has averaged 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 120 games (107 starts) with Illinois State (2019-21) and Arizona State.
Horne, a native of Raleigh, N.C., with his immediate and extended family in the area. Horne posted the news on Twitter and told On3.com in an interview he picked the Wolfpack because “home is where the heart is.”
