The Nike Hoop Summit lived up to the hype once again as Team USA defeated the World Select Team 124-114 in an electrifying overtime battle in Portland. This annual showcase of elite high school and international talent featured jaw-dropping athleticism, high-level shot-making, and breakout performances from several future stars.
Cameron Boozer was a dominant force for Team USA, posting an impressive stat line of 22 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists. The 6-foot-9 forward showcased his versatility and poise, controlling the glass and making smart decisions all game long.
Leading the scoring for Team USA was AJ Dybantsa, who poured in 24 points and 6 rebounds, attacking the rim relentlessly and proving why he’s considered one of the top prospects in the country.
Darius Acuff Jr. added a major spark with 24 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists on a highly efficient 9-of-14 from the field, including 4-of-8 from three-point range. Acuff’s shot-making and pace-setting were key in helping the U.S. pull away in the extra period.
Another standout was Trey McKenney, who chipped in 22 points and 4 rebounds, making tough shots and adding physicality on both ends.
On the World Select side, Tounde Yessoufou, a dynamic Baylor commit, turned heads with a stellar 24-point performance. His game-tying shot in regulation was one of the night’s signature moments, and he backed it up with elite play on both ends of the floor. Yessoufou’s athleticism was off the charts, flashing incredible bounce, quickness, and defensive prowess.
Dame Sarr added 17 points, showcasing smooth scoring ability, while Bogoljub Marković anchored the paint with a strong 16-point, 10-rebound double-double, battling USA’s frontcourt with toughness and skill.
This year’s Nike Hoop Summit proved again why it’s a must-watch event for basketball fans and scouts alike. With future college and NBA stars on full display, the 2025 class continues to look loaded with talent.
