Top Performers at The Border League Day One

The Border League kicked off 2024 event Friday night in which the Showcase Division produces the elite players. Here are the top performers from the opening night. 

Cameron Boozer – Explorers: The Duke commit had 27 points along with 13 rebounds in help Columbus to a 90-72 win over Arizona Compass Prep. 

Jax Richardson – Explorers: Richardson contributed in Columbus win over Arizona Compass by tallying 24 points to go with 12 rebounds.

Cayden Boozer – Explorers: Cayden had no points in the first half, he shined in the second half. He was of part of Columbus second half dominance with 12 points, five assists, and seven rebounds.

Miikka Muurinen – Arizona Compass Prep: The 6-10 Five Star prospect had an impressive performance with 16 points and five rebounds. Muurinen shows great length, athleticism and intriguing shotmaking abilities. 

Jacob Lanier – Arizona Compass Prep: Lanier had 23 points in which he was the top scorer for Arizona Compass. He stretched the floor and a good outside shooter. 

Leroy Kelly IV – Dynamic Prep: Had 17 points, seven rebounds, and two steals in a win against The Valley. The Oral Roberts commit shot 67 percent from the field and was great on both ends of the court. 

Jermaine O’Neal Jr  – Dynamic Prep: The SMU commit played a key role in Friday’s night win. Performed well on both ends of the floor by scoring nine points and four rebounds in their win against The Valle. 

AJ Dybansta – Utah Prep: Dybansta had 18 points and 16 rebounds in dominating fashion against LV Orange. 

Anthony Felesi – Utah Prep: Had 10 points in which he found catch and shoot opportunities, he was all over the floor defensively, scored in transition and hustling on the offensive glass. 

Nik Khamenia – LABC:  He is a versatile scorer, tough around the basket, and is an outstanding passer who plays exceptionally hard.
