Cameron and Cayden Boozer will be following their father Carlos footsteps to play for the Duke Blue Devils next fall. The five star brothers choose Duke over Miami. Cameron and Cayden will be playing their senior season’s at Miami’s Christoper Columbus High School.
Cameron Boozer a 6 foot 8 forward and is the number two ranked prospect in the class of 2025. Cayden Boozer, a 6 foot 4 point guard is a top 20 prospect in the class of 2025. Their father Carlos Boozer played under Coach Mike Krzyzewski at Duke from 1999 to 2002, he helped lead the Blue Devils to the 2001 National Championship.
Cameron Boozer is a projected top-five pick in the 2026 NBA Draft and is the first five-star recruit to follow Cooper Flagg at Duke. Flagg, who is projected to be the top selection in the 2025 NBA Draft if he declares. He is currently in his freshman season with the Blue Devils.
Cayden Cayden is a true point guard and facilitator. He is the best passer in the 2025 class, also making plays of scoring options around him. He has averaged 14 points, 5.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game.
“I’m proud of them. They’ve worked their butts off for this moment,” Carlos Boozer said in an interview with ESPN. “Really excited that they took their time. Decided to play together in college, which is amazing. They both complement each other so well. They made the best decision for them. Me and Mom couldn’t be any prouder. It’s going to be a fun journey.”
Cayden told Sports Illustrated “Since I’ve always had my brother by my side, I’ve known that I can get through anything because I’ve always had someone I can trust,” “I won’t be able to have that if we’re not on the same team in the NBA, which is probably unlikely, but I’m going to savor these moments while they last.”
The Boozer Twins lead Columbus HS to three state championship titles and each took home two gold medals playing with USA Basketball in FIBA U17 championships. Cameron has won two Florida Mr. Basketball awards and was named Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2023. Cayden led the Nike EYBL circuit last summer with 6.5 assists per game.
