The Phoenix Suns signed former first-round draft pick TyTy Washington to a two-way contract. He averaged 21.3 points and 8.3 assists for the Wisconsin Herd in the G-League last season.
Terms were not disclosed for Washington at this time. The 6-foot-3 point guard was a consensus five-star recruit out of Arizona Compass Prep in the 2021 class and played one season at Kentucky under John Calipari.
He was picked 29th overall in 2022 by the Memphis Grizzlies. Washington has played in the NBA for two seasons averaging 3.8 points in 11.6 minutes with the Houston Rockets (2022-23) and Milwaukee Bucks (2023-24).
