Jim Larrañaga Miami Hurricanes program picked up a shooting guard from the Class of 2025. They have landed Matthew Able a 6-foot-5, four-star prospect out of Sagemont Prep School, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Able said “The family-like environment. of coach Larrañaga and coach Courtney Willams were amazing for me. I also would say, they showed me the vision they had with me and the role I would have at Miami. It really aligned with what I want which the end goal is obviously the NBA,”
He choose Miami over Baylor, Michigan, Wake Forest, and Virginia Tech. He played Austin Rivers SE Elite as part of the Adidas 3Stripes Select Basketball program by averaging 22 points per game over the summer.
