24/7 High School Hoops reported that Oklahoma State signee Jeremiah Johnson has requested his release from the class and is reopening his recruiting process. Johnson originally committed to Oklahoma State back in September 2023. However Boynton was dismissed as head coach this past March.
Johnson is a 6-foot-3 point guard a native of Norman, Oklahoma who played for PHHoenix Prep in Arizona is a top 150 prospect in the class of 2025. Last season he averaged 22 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game this past season.
Johnson was also new head coach Steve Lutz only high school signee in the 2024 recruiting class. Oklahoma State has signed four guards in the transfer portal since Lutz became head coach. With Johnson’s decommitment, have three scholarships available for the 2024-25 roster.
