Dylan Harper a 6-foot-5 prospect from Don Bosco Prep HS in Ramsey, NJ committed to Rutgers giving the Scarlet Knights two of the top three prospects in the Class of 2024. Harper along Ace Bailey in which Rutgers have two of the best three prospects the same class.
Harper choose Rutgers over Duke in which he will be playing in his hometown state. He will follow his brother Ron Harper Jr., who helped Rutgers reach two consecutive NCAA Tournaments in 2021 and 2022. He is also the son of former NBA player Ron Harper.
With Bailey and Harper joining the Scarlett Knights gives the program a boost and can be an elite program in the Big Ten for the next few seasons. This is Rutgers greatest recruiting class of all time even when they were relevant in the 70’s.
Daylan Harper is ranked second in the Class of 2024 behind Cooper Flagg. Head coach Steve Pikiell and assistant Brandin Knight were relentless in recruiting him in which they got the honor.
