Elliot Cadeau a Five Star point guard announced that he will reclassify and enroll at the University of North Carolina next week. He will plan to have offseason workouts with the team. Cadeau’s reclassification comes after a dominant performance on Nike’s EYBL circuit.
He lead the EYBL with 9.3 assist per game and 15.7 points per game as well. Also, Cadeau lead Link Academy in Missouri to the Geico national championship.
“My goal was always to be one and done. Reclassing doesn’t change that,” Cadeau said. “It’s definitely my end goal – to be in the draft as soon as possible – but this takes pressure off me to be one and done and gives me the option of staying two years if needed.”
Cadeau will be joining four-star combo guard Simeon Wilcher, four-star power forward Zayden High and transfers Harrison Ingram, Cormac Ryan, Jae’Lyn Withers and Paxson Wojcik as a part of North Carolina’s new incoming class.
