Former Louisville guard El Ellis will commit to play at Arkansas. Ellis averaged 17.7 points per game and 4.4 assist per game last season for the Cardinals. Ellis was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention.
Ellis is a former two-time JUCO All-American at Tallahassee Community College, Ellis joined Louisville for the 2021-22 season, and had an immediate impact. In his junior year at Louisville he averaged 8.7 points per game. He had one year of college ball due to a COVID waiver year of eligibility that he can use.
He declared for the NBA Draft after the season and return to college to play for Eric Musselman Arkansas Razorbacks. He joins Jeremiah Davenport (Cincinnati), Khalif Battle (Temple), Keyon Menifield (Washington) and Tramon Mark (Houston) who also transfer to Arkansas.
