Christian Collins is a name every high school basketball fan needs to know. The 6-foot-9 small forward out of St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA) is quickly becoming one of the most dominant and versatile prospects in the Class of 2026. With offers from college basketball powerhouses including Arkansas, Kentucky, Alabama, Arizona, Texas, USC, Villanova, and Cal, Collins is proving he belongs in the conversation as the number one player in the country.
Playing alongside fellow 5-star recruits Brandon McCoy Jr. and Tajh Ariza (who transferred from Westchester), Collins has thrived on the court, showcasing a complete game. He attacks the rim with authority, can knock down shots from deep, and is incredibly dangerous playing off the ball. His ability to stretch the floor and create mismatches makes him a nightmare for defenders.
What sets Collins apart is his versatility and length. As a combo forward, he uses his long arms and big hands to impact the game on both ends. Whether it’s grabbing boards, defending multiple positions, or stepping out to hit a three, Collins has the tools that translate to the next level—and beyond. His NBA-level frame and athleticism are already drawing comparisons to elite wings, and his upside is tremendous.
Collins’ development has been aided by renowned NBA trainer Olin Simplis, who’s helped fine-tune his game, making him even more dangerous on the perimeter. As he continues to evolve, scouts and coaches are taking notice—and so are fans.
Currently ranked among the top prospects in the country, Collins is gunning for that #1 overall spot in the 2026 rankings, a position currently held by Tyran Stokes, who may be considering a reclassification. If that happens, Collins could be the next man up.
Keep an eye on Christian Collins. With his rising stock, highlight-reel performances, and elite college offers, he’s on a trajectory straight to the top of the class—and potentially the NBA Draft in just a few short years.
