Five-star prospect Cooper Flagg announced Friday he is reclassifying from the Class of 2025 to the Class of 2024. This would also make the 6-foot-8 forward eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft.
Flagg is still considered as the top prospect for the Class of 2024. He won’t turn 17 until this upcoming December. His Instagram post on Friday had the year 2025 crossed out and replaced by 2024.
This summer Flagg lead Maine United 16 and under to the EYBL Peach Jam Championship game. In addition, he led the USA squad to a gold medal at the FIBA World Cup and made the all-tournament team.
Duke is leading the recruiting chase, with offers from UConn, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Texas and others also on the table.
