Angel Reese was a straight-up BEAST during the Atlanta Dream’s four-game road trip.
Reese put together an incredible stretch of basketball, helping the Dream win all four games and strengthen their position in the WNBA playoff race. She was doing everything — scoring, rebounding, defending and making the type of hustle plays that can completely change a game.
Then came Monday night against the struggling Los Angeles Sparks. Reese delivered a performance that will be remembered for a long time.
She grabbed an unbelievable 26 rebounds, setting a new WNBA single-game record for rebounds. She was all over the boards from the opening tip, battling for every missed shot and giving Atlanta second-chance opportunities throughout the night.
It wasn’t just the rebounding that made the performance special. Reese once again recorded a double-double, continuing one of the most impressive rebounding seasons we’ve seen in the league.

One of the most interesting possibilities in the opening round is a matchup between Atlanta and the Indiana Fever.
That would put Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark on the same playoff stage and create another chapter in one of the most talked-about young rivalries in women’s basketball.
The standings can change before the playoffs begin, so nothing is guaranteed yet.
But if Atlanta can hold onto the fourth seed, having home court against Indiana would be a major advantage.
