DJ Wagner transfers to Arkansas 

Former Kentucky guard DJ Wagner committed to Arkansas to reunite with head coach John Calipari. Wagner averaged 9.9 points and 3.3 assists in his freshman season at Kentucky. He entered the transfer portal back on April 15, he visited USC and Arkansas before he committed. 

Wagner was the number one prospect in the Class of 2023. He started in 28 out of 29 games for Kentucky this past season. He remains an NBA prospect and is expected to have a phenomenal sophomore campaign. In addition, he was battling an ankle injury. 

The 6-foot-4 guard will be joining Johnell Davis a transfer from Florida Atlantic, Jonas Aidoo from Tennessee along with Kentucky transfer Zvonimir Ivisic and Adou Thiero. In addition to former Kentucky class of 2024 recruits Boogie Fland, Karter Knox and Billy Richmond. 

With Calipari at Arkansas he will continue to recruit the best players and getting into the transfer portal. Wagner will get the opportunity to showcase his talents in Fayetteville.
