Four-Star Jase Richardson Commits to Michigan State 

Jase Richardson a 6-foot-3 prospect out of Columbus High School in Miami, Florida chooses the Spartans over Alabama and Cincinnati.  He said “I’ll be going to Michigan State University,” he announced on ESPN with Paul Biancardi.

Richardson transfer to Columbus High School this season after spending three seasons at Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas. In addition his his brother Jaxson transferred to the Miami school. 

What Michigan State is getting? Richardson said “I would say I am a level scorer who likes to play-make for my team. I also like playing both sides of the ball.” “Just definitely how to be a point guard,” Richardson said when asked what he’ll learn from Hall of Fame coach Tom Izzo.

Jase’s father, Jason Richardson, played two seasons at Michigan State from 1999 to 2001. He was a part of the 2000 National Championship squad at Michigan State. Then he went on to play 14 seasons in the NBA.
